Lhasa 4G cat.1 project

In 2020, Nanjing LiCON IOT signed a procurement contract with a customer for the first LTE-Cat.1 single lamp controller deployed in the main urban area of Lhasa. Compared with the single lamp controller of NB-IoT communication, LTE-Cat.1 communication well solves the problem that the street lights cannot be online at the same time after the narrow bandwidth of NB communication, and the 4G base station with wide coverage of China Mobile also solves the problem of blind spots in the coverage of NB base stations, and the LTE-Cat.1 single lamp controller in the main urban area of Lhasa can be all online within two minutes. Lhasa Municipal Monolumin Control System has become the first large-scale implementation project of LTE-Cat.1 monolumin controller in China and even in the world.

In 2020,LiCON signed a procurement contract with a customer for the project of urban area in Lhasaa,which used 1,1500 pcs LTE-Cat.1 streetlight controllers(it is the first project for bulk adoption LTE Cat.1 communication in China or even the world); Compared with NB-IoT communication, LTE-Cat.1 communication solved the problem that the street lamps cannot be all online at the same time caused by NB-IoT narrow band.Also the China Mobile wide coverage 4G base station solves the blind spots of NB-IoT base stations in Lhasa,which can allow all street lamps in this project online within 2 minutes.
